SHOULD I HAVE A CERAMIC COATING?
This is the question, should you? Well it depends on what your lifestyle and plans are for this vehicle. If you plan on using a touched car wash on a regular basis then the answer is maybe, a common misconception of ceramic coatings is they are invincible, they are not they will not prevent scratches. A coating is not maintenance free, A coating is not swirl free. What a coating provides is ease of maintenance, not a maintenance free car. In fact a coating in some ways may require more maintenance than the average person wants to deal with for example a coating needs decontaminated 2 times a year here in PA I suggest October and April. In October to prepare it for winter and then again in April to remove what winter has done. Below are some links and videos research for yourself because Its an expensive investment BUT if willing to maintain it will pay for itself easily. If you do elect to have a coating and I install it those maintenance details are discounted I will help you take care of the coating. I will decon 2 times a year for a discounted price, have me monthly or quarterly wash for a discounted price but to be upfront if you elect not to see me at least quarterly for this maintenance I will not discount until a pattern is re-established. I want you to get the most out of your investment. For most people a sealant is the best solution 2-3 times a year. A coating is for the customer who wants the best for their ride, who don’t mind washing it on a regular schedule who is interested in preserving the cars finish.
